Power Engine |
|
Power that Tucson you on
top
The 2.0 liter CRDi engine of Tucson is for those who want the
best of everything. The performance, strength and frugality of
a diesel motor together with quietness & smoothness of petrol
is a reality , thanks to the uniformly maintained high
pressure in common rail of the 2.0L CRDi engine. The power and
torque are amazing at 112 Ps & 25 kgm at as low as 2000 rpm. |

Passenger Presence Detection (PPD) |
|
 |
|
Dual Air bags :
The dual Airbags deploy in case of collision thus reducing
chances of injury to the front seat occupants.
Dual Pretensioner
The pretensioner was built in to the seatbelt buckle, which
should pull the passengers tightly in both ways, fully
preventing the passengers from slipping down. |

Antilock
Braking System (ABS)/ Traction Control System (TCS) |
|
 |
Antilock Braking System
TCS along with ABS co-relate
wheel lock-up and activate the TCS if wheel speed
increases in relation to the road speed.
Traction Control System (TCS)
An electronic control system that prevents wheel
spin by detecting when a driven wheel is about to break
traction & thus reducing engine power and applying the
appropriate brakes to prevent skidding.

Break
Assistance System (BAS) |
|
 |
|
This unique system operates in combination with the ABS. It
senses emergency braking situation and develops greater
braking force even when little pressure is exerted on the
brake pedal for better control.

Full-time 4WD |
|
 |
|
Just test drive Tucson's interactive torque management
four-wheel-drive system and you'll discover a mind-broadening
new level of precise control. While it normally routes most of
the available power to the front wheels, as road conditions or
torque demand change, it senses the differences, and routes
the power to whatever is the best condition for all four
wheels. |
