  CRDI Engine

Accent's CRDi - Engineered for the future - Engineered to meet the latest EURO III norms, this 1.5 litre new generation 'Green engine' combines performance and handling of a petrol engine with the fuel efficiency of a diesel, delivering an unbelievable 82ps of power and 19.1kgm of torque at 2000-2700 rpm.

Working on a patented 'direct injection' technology, the CRDi engine has 'rails' that inject pressurised fuel directly into the engine thereby improving engine efficiency and reducing noise & vibrations. The CRDi also electronically controls engine pressure, fuel quantity and injection timing to deliver better fuel efficiency and lower Nox and particulate emissions, making it one of the most environmentally friendly diesels in its class.

  Suspension

The Accent suspension system delivers stable and gentle ride.
Smooth ride and sure handling are possible by industry standard McPherson strut-type front suspension and dual-link suspension in the rear.
The dynamically tuned all wheel, Independent suspension gives the Accent surprising athleticism on the road, round the corners and on the most tricky of surfaces. The wide radials of the Accent, which come in two different sizes, are perfectly matched to the progressive action struts in the front and the rear, giving you the smoothest ride and handling among cars in its class.
